Freddie Digital ("we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the data collected through our onboarding forms and QR services on revu.freddiedigital.uk. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Information We Collect
When you complete an onboarding form, sign up for a trial, or subscribe to Freddie Revu, we collect:
- Account & Business Data: Contact name, business name, physical business address, business email address, and billing details.
- Operational Inputs: Links to your review profiles (Google, TripAdvisor, Facebook, etc.) and duty manager phone numbers for WhatsApp alerts.
- Uploaded Media: Brand logos, images, and graphics submitted via our form uploads.
- Scan & Usage Data: Aggregated, non-personal analytics generated when end-customers scan your QR codes (e.g., scan timestamps, device type, and location category—Table vs. Window). Note: Standard QR scans do not harvest PII from your end-customers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your data strictly for legitimate business purposes:
- To configure and host your custom Freddie Revu digital landing page.
- To generate print-ready vector QR code artwork files.
- To process payments and manage recurring billing via Stripe.
- To route direct WhatsApp manager alerts (using standard
wa.me deep linking). - To communicate account updates, scan performance reports, or support responses.
3. File Uploads & Data Storage
- File Storage: Brand logos and images uploaded via our onboarding form are securely stored on encrypted cloud servers solely for the purpose of rendering your digital hub and print materials.
- Data Retention: We retain your account and media files for as long as your subscription or trial remains active. If an account is canceled, uploaded assets and landing page configurations are archived and permanently deleted after 90 days unless requested sooner.
4. Third-Party Data Sharing
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data. We only share necessary data with trusted service processors required to deliver our core service:
- Payment Processing: Payment card data is processed directly by Stripe under strict PCI-DSS compliance.
- QR Hosting & Analytics: Operational link data is managed securely via our agency infrastructure (ElkQR).
- Form Processing: Form submissions and uploaded files are captured via our secure form engine (AutoForm).
5. Your UK GDPR Data Rights
Under UK data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access, correct, or request the erasure of your personal data.
- Object to processing or request data portability.
- Request immediate deletion of your uploaded logo/brand files upon subscription cancellation.
